Malibu Babie, a co-producer behind "Super Freaky Girl" by Nicki Minaj and "Her" by Megan Thee Stallion, has signed with ONErpm. The label will release her new single, “Baddie Bakery” f/Flyana Boss, on Friday (10/25) and her full-length project next year.
"Malibu Babie's producer accolades speak for themselves and it’s time for the world to recognize her as an artist” ONErpm Senior Director of A&R Alex Ziabko said. “Malibu reminds us all to have fun from time to time."
As the name suggests, Malibu Babie is a West Coast native. She graduated top of her class from Vanderbilt University and taught herself music production all while earning her degree. As All DEC Dancer of the Year, she danced in collegiate stadiums around the country. After graduating, she started getting the attention of music industry players that ultimately led her to her first publishing deal.
Recent collaborations include Sia, Katy Perry, Kim Petras, Shania Twain and Kylie Minogue. Malibu Babie is on tour in support of Qveen Herby on The Alchemist Tour. They'll perform at The Novo in L.A. on 10/31. Meanwhile, we've barely left the house.
