LG TO HOST BOOM BOOM POW FESTA
10/2/24

LG Electronics is launching the world’s first music festival dedicated to a single song, “Boom Boom Pow,” by the Black Eyed Peas.

Directed by 1stAveMachine’s Emil Nava, the Boom Boom Pow Festa will feature nine street performers from different countries delivering covers of the party anthem through LG's XBOOM speakers.

Each performance will showcase the artist and their local communities, with acts from countries including Spain, India, the U.K. and South Africa. The event will be livestreamed on LG’s YouTube channel on 10/5 and kicks off globally with each country hosting a part of the festival.

“LG’s commitment to spreading positivity based on its philosophy ‘Life’s Good,” is the driving force of why we are doing this festival,” said Lee Jeong-seok, head of LG Home Ent. Company’s audio business.

“Getting to highlight not only the musicians but also where they’re from and the communities they represent is something that I am most excited about. I am thrilled to partner and do it all with such an iconic and trusted brand like LG,” added Nava.
