7/31/24

WHAT IT IS: North Carolina native John Morgan brings a blue-collar toughness to country that’s pulled straight from the only life he knows. A writing session with Kurt Allison and Tully Kennedy led to Jason Aldean cutting 14 songs written by Morgan, including the #1 singles “Trouble With a Heartbreak” and “If I Didn’t Love You” w/Carrie Underwood, the latter Grammy-nominated and the ACM Single of the Year,. Since being signed to Aldean’s Night Train imprint, Morgan has toured with Aldean, Riley Green and ERNEST and is opening for Nate Smith on his Through the Smoke Tour this fall. After making his Grand Ole Opry debut and releasing his debut EP, Remember Us?, Morgan dropped “Friends Like That” f/Aldean, which is climbing the Country-radio charts.
