WHAT IT IS: Born and raised in Buffalo, N.Y., Nashville-based singer-songwriter Marc Scibilia crafts soulful music on his own terms, reflecting the national mood. Drawing inspiration from folk, country, alternative and anthemic pop, he creates a uniquely American sound that’s both rueful and hopeful. His first single of 2024, “More to This,” has already amassed more than 4m streams on Spotify without any editorial support. With a new project set for release this fall, 2024 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Scibilia.
