BMG STRIKES DEAL WITH YG & 4HUNNID RECORDS
4/4/24

YG has signed a new multi-album global recordings partnership with BMG under his 4Hunnid Records label to release his upcoming seventh album. Over the course of his career, the Compton native has amassed more than 10b global streams and a string of RIAA certifications.

“BMG is making big waves in the industry right now,” he said. “This partnership will take my music to new heights. The BMG team understands the vision for my music and business. Excited for what’s to come and the future of my brand."

BMG SVP, Repertoire & Marketing Tim Reid added, “Our partnership with YG isn't just about music; it's about expressing his voice, embracing his vision, supporting his entrepreneurship, and helping amplify his next movement.”

Bold anthems such as “FTD (Fuck Donald Trump)” featuring the late Nipsey Hussle and “FTP (Fuck The Police)” has made YG a fearless voice for a generation. Beyond music, he’s a staunch advocate for social change and an entrepreneur, boasting The Flame Footwear and Komfort Kollection lines. More recently, he dropped the all-natural Cherry Bomb supplement for men.
