WHAT IT IS: Toronto-based vocalist, producer and multi-instrumentalist Chris LaRocca seamlessly merges his pop and R&B inclinations with electronic-indie and garage-rock influences. Since catching the attention of Grammy-nominated platinum producer WondaGurl, who signed him to her Wonderchild imprint, LaRocca has co-written and co-produced hits for major artists like Kali Uchis and Stray Kids. This year he’s released EPs perhaps! and smile because it happened, with more to come in the fall.
