WHAT IT IS: Born in Jerusalem and based in L.A., Saint Levant, the son of a French-Algerian mother and a Palestinian-Serbian father, was raised between Gaza and Amman as a child of the Palestinian diaspora. Levant’s background and upbringing have influenced his sound, which draws from Arabic trap, Franco-Arabic rap and early-2000s R&B. His new EP, From Gaza, With Love, finds Levant seamlessly transitioning between Arabic, French and English lyrics.
