midwxst (Geffen)
4/12/23

WHAT IT IS: Born Edgar Sarratt III, midwxst combines hyperpop and digicore elements with hip-hop, topping his sound with candid lyrics. The 19-year-old has racked up 5.6m+ streams and 100k+ YouTube subscribers since he inked with Geffen in 2021. Last year, the Indiana-raised, NYC-based artist dropped two EPs, including BACK IN ACTION 3.0—which yielded the standout track “223’s” f/BabyTron—and better luck next time., as well as standalone singles “mad,” “slide den” and “sidelines.” He also toured across the country, while collaborating with artists like Yeat, Dro Kenji, KA$HDAMI and, most recently, Denzel Curry on his latest single, “Tally.”
