Senegal-born singer-songwriter Marieme has dropped her anthemic new single, "Built for Greatness."
Arriving via Venice, the track garnered plenty of early buzz, securing three syncs prior to its release.
Hoping the song will inspire listeners with its uplifting message, Marieme says, "’Built for Greatness’ is an affirmation for life and a reminder that we are all capable of reaching our highest selves.”
Following tracks like “2 Oceans” and “Easy,” as well as her 2022 EP, Stuck / Reflex, “Built for Greatness” was co-written and co-produced by John Buchanan, whose credits include the likes of Rita Ora and Connor Maynord, among others.
The single is just the latest offering from Marieme. Following her residency at L.A.’s The Sun Rose, Marieme recently hit the stage to perform two nights at Red Rocks with Trevor Hall and has upcoming dates in Brazil later this year.
With plenty of music on the horizon, Marieme is set slated to drop her new album later this year. She’s repped by One Drop Management’s Jason Kramer.
Until then, stream “Built for Greatness” here.
