WHAT IT IS: Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, 21-year-old singer-songwriter Will Linley grew up singing with his three brothers and studied classical singing in high school. He started writing songs at a young age and teased his music on TikTok in 2020. Through his honest lyricism and uplifting positivity, Linley developed a global connection with fans before he even dropped his debut single, “miss me (when you’re gone),” in 2021. The track hit #1 on radio in South Africa, was certified gold and set up his debut EP, kill all my feelings, last July. Linley’s latest offering, “Last Call,” has already garnered nearly 6m Spotify streams.
