WHAT IT IS: Formed in 2021, British indie outfit Lovejoy—made up of Wilbur Soot, Ash Kabosu, Mark Boardman and Joe Goldsmith—has already garnered 600m+ global streams and 30m+ fans across social media. Harnessing a love affair with satirical social commentary and overdriven guitars, the four-piece delivered their debut EP, Are You Alright?, in May of 2021, followed by their second EP, Pebble Brain, in October. Showcasing their knack for storytelling, their colloquial lyrics speak truthfully to their young, Internet-crazed fans, helping them to navigate through their complicated adolescence.
