APEX SOUND SASH-AYS INTO 2023
12/4/22

Mike Dean and fellow producer Apex Martin announced their new record label, Apex Sound, last month along with their first signee, SASH. On Friday (12/3), the New York City rapper returned with his six-song EP, Bittersweet, which includes the single, "biscayne." The accompanying visual for the track finds SASH spelling out his intentions to keep his head high as he navigates his blossoming career.

As noted in the YouTube credits, Dean mixed and mastered the production for Dean's List Productions at Dean’s List House of Hits in Cypress, Texas.

Martin was instrumental in putting SASH on Dean's radar. As he explained, "After seeing SASH's first music video for ‘Rondo' in 2017, I had a gut feeling I needed to work with him. We connected through a mutual friend. Since then we’ve become friends through working on music together. We’re on a wave right now. The sonics are the best they’ve ever been.”

Dean added, "Apex kept telling me, 'Check this artist; check that artist. Some are doing well, so I decided to follow his instincts with SASH. I believe we have a winning team."

Take a trip to "biscayne" with SASH below, while we try to figure out where that actually is.
