WHAT IT IS: TALK is the moniker of 25-year-old Nicholas Durocher. The Ottawa-raised multi-instrumentalist generated quite a buzz with his debut EP, TALK to Me. Lead single “Run Away to Mars” became a runaway smash over the summer, gaining virality across streaming platforms and TikTok. This month, the track was gold-certified in Norway and Canada and continues to climb radio charts globally. TALK is currently in the studio crafting his upcoming album for next year.
