WHAT IT IS: Seattle-born, NYC-based up-and-comer Kid Culture, who started making beats at the age of five, delivers a scorching signature style that’s rooted in both old-school crate-digging and 21st century attitude. The artist/producer/songwriter earned two Grammy nominations for his work with Cordae, and he co-produced Justin Bieber’s “Yummy” with Poo Bear and Sasha Sirona. He’s also worked with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Anderson .Paak, Herbie Hancock, Ty Dolla $ign, Eminem, Miguel, Chance the Rapper, Eddie Benjamin, Terrace Martin, French Montana and Roddy Ricch. Now, the multi-hyphenate is carving out his own lane as he puts the finishing touches on his debut project.
