P Yungin (Never Broke Again/Motown)
11/10/22

WHAT IT IS: Louisiana native P Yungin hit the radar with his 2020 debut album, Demons Everywhere I Go. He maintained his momentum in 2021 by joining the Never Broke Again collective, helmed by Grammy-nominated artist NBA YoungBoy, in partnership with Motown. The emerging artist appeared on the collective’s three compilations, and he continues to bring visibility to the Louisiana sound with his latest solo album, DOY (short for Definition of a Yungin). The 15-track project, which includes “Amazing” f/NBA YoungBoy, showcases Yungin’s artistry as he tackles real, raw subject matter amid hard-hitting Southern instrumentals.
