WHAT IT IS: Wielding his voice like an instrument, riffing on drill, grime, Afrobeats, alternative, reggae and pop, Jnr Choi initially made waves in the fashion world, gracing runways for Givenchy, Philipp Plein AMIRI and more. The U.K. based artist of Gambian descent crossed over to the U.S. with “TO THE MOON,” which topped Spotify’s Viral charts and has since landed on coveted playlists like Today’s Top Hits while peaking at #1 on TikTok’s U.S. Top Tracks chart.
