WHAT IT IS: Known for its explosive live sets, Starcrawler—consisting of frontwoman Arrow de Wilde, guitarist Henri Cash, pedal steel/guitar player Bill Cash, drummer Seth Carolina and bassist Tim Franco—is a rock band for a new generation. With new album She Said, coming 9/16, the quintet imagines a contemporary Hollywood Babylon, a modern-day take on X, The Go-Go’s and The Distillers. The set was produced by Tyler Bates, who met the band when they collaborated on “Goodtime Girl,” a stand-alone single for DC’s Dark Nights: Death Metal soundtrack.
