WHAT IT IS: Originally from Bemidji, Minn., singer/songwriter Ber spent a lot of her early adult life in the U.K. before moving home last year and recording her debut EP remotely with collaborators Sfven, Hazel English and Hot Dennis. Her viral single “Meant to Be” has amassed over 45m streams, and she’s seen support from the likes of Zane Lowe, Travis Mills and BBC Radio 1. A recent festival appearance resulted in a one-off performance with JP Saxe, Holly Humberstone and Maisie Peters. Next up, she’s releasing “Superspreader,” leading into her second EP, which will be supported by global touring.
