WHAT IT IS: Rising out of the D.C. area, KA$HDAMI has been making waves since he started releasing music on SoundCloud. Following his debut mixtape, epiphany, and breakout hits like “Reparations!” and “Look N the Mirror!”—the latter of which debuted Top 20 on the Spotify Viral chart, Top 25 on Rolling Stone’s Breakthrough 25 chart and was named Pitchfork’s “Must Hear Rap Song of the Day”—the Vegas-born rapper dropped his sophomore album, HYPERNOVA., last year.
