WHAT IT IS: At the age of 12, Kylie Morgan began writing songs in her hometown of Newcastle, Okla., and independently released music throughout her early teens before being named one of the CMA’s “Who New to Watch” artists at 16. Her forthcoming EP follows 2021’s Love, Kylie, which was co-produced by country hitmaker Shane McAnally. Morgan, who boasts a powerful voice, a sharp songwriting pen and a vivacious personality, was named one of CMT’s Next Women of Country and was one of only three artists chosen for the CMA KixStart program; she’s also the only country artist to be selected as one of VEVO’s 2021 DSCVR Artists to Watch.
