WHAT IT IS: Peter $un, aka Sunny, embodies the underdog mentality through boundless self-expression in his music and art. The L.A.-based Richmond native’s inspirations span from the gritty regional styles of Pusha T and Clipse to the melodic, soul-driven sounds of D’Angelo, Pharrell and The Neptunes.
