WHAT IT IS: L.A.-based spill tab, neé Claire Chicha, has been making a name for herself since 2019 with her transcendent bilingual bedroom pop. Putting her French-Korean roots and distinctive style on display, spill tab launched her career with a series of singles leading up to her 2020 debut EP, Oatmilk, and her six-track follow-up, Bonnie, released last December. On the heels of 30m+ global career streams and a pair of cover appearances on Spotify’s Lorem playlist, spill tab has dropped her first single of 2022, “Sunburn,” further solidifying her as an artist to watch in 2022.
