WHAT IT IS: Hailing from Beaumont, Tex., 26-year-old spitter Big Jade made a name for herself after releasing a series of at-home freestyle videos online that showcased her undeniable rapping ability, silky flow and hard-hitting bars. Cultivating a dedicated fan base with her authentic approach and no-nonsense attitude, Jade has garnered praise from the likes of Muni Long, Rico Nasty, Monaleo and more along the way. During the last month, she’s reached 5m+ views on YouTube and has seen a 125% increase in listeners on Spotify. Jade’s recent offering, “Lower,” accompanied by a Players Club-inspired video, arrived on 4/27. Her next project is slated for later this spring.
