WHAT IT IS: Multi-hyphenate NIGO is tapping back into his musical roots to present his latest album, I Know NIGO, his first solo project in nearly two decades.The Japanese fashion designer/DJ/producer, who founded A Bathing Ape (or Bape) in 1993 and was recently named Creative Director for KENZO, previewed several tracks from forthcoming set on the runway during Paris Fashion Week via the KENZO fashion show. Featuring hip-hop heavyweights like A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Kid Cudi, Pop Smoke, A$AP Ferg and Pusha T, the album—executive-produced by Pharrell Williams—is set to arrive on 3/25. Its first single, “Arya” f/A$AP Rocky, dropped on 1/28 and its follow up will hit DSPs on 2/18.
