WHAT IT IS: A onetime volleyball star at UCLA, Toronto native Kofi has morphed into a culture-shifting singer, rapper, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer renowned for his raw talent and unflinchingly honest lyrics. After inking to Red Bull Records, Kofi dropped his 2020 EP, Story of My Life, showcasing his production skills on three of the six cuts, while single “Babygirl” hit #1 on SoundCloud’s New & Hot U.S. chart, #4 on the Global chart and #2 on the U.S. Singles chart. Over the past few years, he’s amassed tens of millions of streams and garnered co-signs from fans like Drake, Major Lazer’s Walshy Fire, Preme and Kardinal Offishall.
