WHAT IT IS: When Minnesota native Caitlyn Smith arrived in Nashville, she found herself in writers’ rooms on Music Row and quickly established herself as a creative force. Along with penning songs for the likes of Miley Cyrus, Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, Meghan Trainor and John Legend, Smith released two critically acclaimed albums of her own, 2018’s Starfire and 2020’s Supernova. She’s presently gearing up for her next, entirely self-produced project. On her new set, Smith will share the most honest and vulnerable version of herself, beginning with first single “High.”
