Platoon, the label-services tech firm owned by Apple, has announced a partnership with the new lo-fi label Arden Records, co-founded by the Nepalese hip hop star/producer sagun along with Jordan Smith (S+ MGMT), and Andrew Kwan (Romantic Music Group).
Sagun and Arden hope to provide a resource for early-stage artists and producers who may be in the dark when making crucial business decisions. "I always carried the dream of starting a label and creating opportunities to positively impact talented upcoming artists,” said sagun. "I want to help artists achieve their goals by offering the proper resources I never knew I needed.”
Sagun, who has racked up more than 200 million streams, just released his new EP Solitude, a collaboration with lo-fi pop artist Carl Storm.
