TILLIE’S JUST “PEACHIE”
6/25/21

Independent singer/songwriter tiLLie has dropped the music video for her latest offering, “peachie.”

Boasting a no-holds-barred approach to her music, tiLLie delivers that same energy with the visuals for the punk-infused electro-pop track, which weaves together grungy guitars and electrifying synths.

Reminiscent of a 2000’s pop video (think fisheye lenses and dance moves), the “peachie” video keeps on that nostalgic aesthetic by highlighting the Mario Cart-esque game chimes with animated characters around an all-too-familiar racetrack in the clouds.

Additionally, the self-proclaimed “anti-pop” singer is also in the process of recording her debut album, which features production by ROBOPOP (Marina, Lana Del Rey, Charli XCX). The set is slated for release later this year.

Since catching the attention of Machine Gun Kelly and Kevin Lyman—creators of the Vans Warped Tour—during a sold-out set in 2016, tiLLie joined the tour for a two-week stint and released a series of singles that picked up spins on BBC Radio 1 and were featured in the game Rock Band.

She also released her 2019 EP, Loud Mouth, leading her to ink with ICM and Paradigm, and has supported the likes of YONAKA on a U.K. and EU tour, as well as serving as direct support for LIGHTS’ sold-out North American tour and opened for Soccer Mommy.
