Italian duo Giolì & Assia have officially inked with ATC Management’s Dorothy Caccavale.
An amalgamation of pop, electronic, house, indie and dance, the duo is best known for their monthly #DiesisLive sessions filmed in locations around the world, including an active volcano at the Aeolian Islands in Sicily, Italy, Punta Bianca, Agrigento and more.
Since their debut, the pair have garnered 78m+ YouTube views, 9.8m+ Spotify streams and have landed on coveted playlists like Mint, Dance Rising and New Music Friday Italia.
Most recently, the producers/multi-instrumentalists/songwriters/DJs released their EP, Moon Faces, via Ultra Records in February and followed up with an acoustic version of the five-track set, which features stripped down versions of hits like “For You” and “Rollercoaster.”
“We are so happy to finally share the acoustic version of our EP Moon Faces. We wanted to give each song a new perspective, more chill and emotional, characterized by the sounds of piano and handpan,” said the duo.
The acoustic EP also arrives alongside an accompanying session video with Giolì & Assia in the middle of Maullazzo Lake in Sicily while wearing Act n°1 from their Spring/Summer 21 collection. Feast your eyes on it below.
With more music on the way and a forthcoming Fall U.S./International Tour, there’s much to come from the multi-hyphenates.
Italian American Sr. Manager Caccavale—a Noisemaker alum—previously worked in the electronic department at Red Light Management before joining Aron Projects in 2015, where she worked on the artist teams of Halsey, Lido and Cash Cash. In 2017, she co-founded her own management company, The Beehive Management, which merged with ATC in 2019.
In a classic case of quarantine relationships, Caccavale, Giolì and Assia began working together via Zoom. You can bet they celebrated National Ravioli Day (3/20) virtually.
