WHAT IT IS: At the age of 18, SpotemGottem started his takeover of the Florida rap scene. The rising rapper released his 13-track project, Final Destination, in April of last year, which yielded the viral sensation “Beat Box.” The cultural impact of the record resulted in a range of remixes over the past few months with artists including DaBaby, Mulatto, Shenseea, Pooh Sheisty, Polo G and NLE Choppa, who fashioned their own renditions. As the song continues its rise, SpotemGottem is picking up cosigns from major hip-hop heavyweights for his seemingly effortless freestyles and hard-hitting beats. This talented youngster is cementing his status as one of the top artists to watch in 2021.
