WHAT IT IS: Hailing from the small town of Opp, Ala., 23-year-old rising star Mooski has been steadily building a buzz throughout the South with his powerful melodies and catchy lyrics that touch on personal emotions, hardships and relationships. After serving four years in the Marine Corps. Following high school, Mooski recently inked with Capitol and has captured listeners with his earworm hit, “Track Star.” The single, which originally dropped in 2020 but recently went viral following a TIkTok dance challenge, is climbing Urban and Rhythm charts, as he toes the line between R&B and hip-hop.
