Emily Weisband (Warner)
4/15/21

WHAT IT IS: Emily Weisband writes the kind of pop songs that use clever turns of phrase to reveal intimate details and leave colorful hooks in your head for days. Using her songwriting chops to help artists tell their stories for years, Weisband established herself as an in-demand songwriter early on. Having written for the likes of Camila Cabello, Dan + Shay, BTS with Halsey and Keith Urban, among others, Weisband earned a Grammy for “Thy Will,” performed by Hillary Scott and The Scott Family. Following the release of her 2019 debut EP, Identity Crisis, and 2020’s Not Afraid to Say Goodbye, Weisband is stepping into the spotlight with her latest EP, I Call It Being Human, and its lead single, “Psychopath.” Crafting fiercely candid lyrics, the singer/songwriter is delivering a fresh take on pop.
