WHAT IT IS: France-based artist Luidji’s 2019 debut album, Tristesse Business: Saison 1, solidified the founder of the Foufoune Palace collective as an artist to watch. The 17-track album, which showcased Luidji’s deep and introspective style, followed 2015’s Mécanique Des Fluides. Exhibiting his groovy sound and intricate lyricism, the album’s lead single, “Vent D’Hiver,” introduced Luidji to the American scene. He recently premiered his EP, Boscolo Exedra, during his COLORS Show.
