WHAT IT IS: Cosmic-rockers DREAMERS have gone from playing in bars to nonstop touring in arenas and festivals including Lollapalooza, Reading and Leeds, Bumbershoot and Firefly over the last few years. Composed of Nick Wold, Marc Nelson and Jacob Wick, the aptly named band formed in Brooklyn before decamping to the West Coast. Their latest single, “True Crime”—co-written and produced by Joywave’s Dan Armbruster and Sir Sly’s Jason Suwito and featuring dark-pop provocateur DeathbyRomy—gives listeners a glimpse of what to expect from their forthcoming EP, Palm Reader.
