CHLOE TANG EMBRACES THE SADNESS
1/26/21

Rising pop act Chloe Tang faces her depression and unhappiness in her new single, "Sad About Me." The Arizona-born, LA-based singer/songwriter dropped the latest track from her forthcoming EP, E-PITY-ME, on Tuesday. Watch the visualizer below.

On the creation of the song, Tang boldly explains, "I wrote this song during a time I was dealing with seasonal depression and other life things which made me question if my state of low was driven by my relationship. The realization that my sadness wasn't actually about a boy made the song empowering in a twisted way, because I was able to embrace the unhappiness without feeling guilty about it."

Growing up, Tang was immersed in music; she learned piano at the age of five before adding guitar and saxophone to her arsenal. She went on to study songwriting at the University of Colorado, before landing a breakthrough supporting slot for Dua Lipa at the sold-out Fillmore Auditorium in Denver.

Recently inked to 3V Method Management (Peach Tree Rascals), keep up with the Tang gang here.
