L.A.-based artist Ricky Hil, a.k.a. Richard Hilfiger, has returned with his latest single, “Break My Heart.” Released via Foo Foo Records and 10k Projects, the highly anticipated track was produced by Hedcvse and arrived alongside a new Robert Gallardo-directed video.
Taking a dive into Hil’s unique style of dark poetic lyrics with hypnotically charged production, the alt-laden hip-hop single marks his fourth release this year.
“I’ve been working really hard on putting out new music. I’m really proud to share ‘Break My Heart’ as a first glimpse into my project, SSDD. I strive to bring the gritty truth of my generation into my music and lyrics,” shared Hil, who is the son of corporate fashion mogul Tommy Hilfiger.
Since releasing his debut LP SYLDD in 2013, Hil has collaborated with The Weeeknd on the hit single “Nomad” as well as artists like Kid Cudi and Leona Lewis, among others. With several full-length projects under his belt, Hil is gearing up for more music in the new year.
