Warner’s Acapop! KIDS have dropped their latest single, “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going.” Arriving alongside a music video, the track was originally popularized by Jennifer Holliday, and later Jennifer Hudson on the musical and major motion picture, Dreamgirls.
Earlier this year, the rising a cappella group released their debut album ACAPOP 1 in March, amassing nearly 25m views to date. More recently, they started performing a series of short live shows recorded from their homes titled Acapop! Minis, covering tracks like Doja Cat’s “Say So,” BENEE & Gus Dapperton’s “Supalonely” and Panic! At The Disco’s “High Hopes,” which they performed on Good Day New York and has 6m+ views on YouTube.
The 25-strong group of young vocalists launched in October of last year and was co-founded by Grammy-winning Pentatonix co-founder Scott Hoying; Grammy-winning arranger/producer Ben Bram, manager Jonathan Kalter and creative director/arranger/producer Shams Ahmed.
