UTA INKS DEADMAU5
6/26/20

UTA has inked electronic DJ and producer deadmau5, a.k.a. Joel Zimmerman, for worldwide representation in all areas. Under the deal, UTA will continue developing his touring business and help expand his content into areas like gaming, animation, film, philanthropy, entrepreneurial ventures and branding, as well as explore opportunities for his label, mau5trap.

Additionally, UTA will rep his techno alias, Testpilot, who’s performed at Detroit’s Movement Festival and Ultra’s Resistance stages in both Miami and Ibiza, among others.

Deadmau5 most recently collaborated with The Neptunes on the R&B-tinged “Pomegranate,” and wrapped up his 39-date North American cubev3 tour in February with 150k+ tickets, 5k VIP packages and 1m in merch sales. He also headlined Epic GamesFortnite Party Royale Premiere, an interactive in-game concert, in May.

With 8 studio albums, six Grammy nominations and three Juno award wins under his belt, deadmau5 has produced hits like platinum-certified “Ghosts ‘n’ Stuff,” “Sofi Needs A Ladder,” “Faxing Berlin” and more.

UTA’s Cheryl Paglierani and Co-Heads of Electronic Music, Kevin Gimble and Steve Gordon, will rep deadmau5 in the live music space. He continues to be repped by SEVEN20 on the management side and attorney Dina LaPolt on the legal side.
