Parker McCollum (MCA Nashville)
4/28/20

WHAT IT IS: Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Parker McCollum began building a following in his native Texas with the release of The Limestone Kid in 2015. Album track “Meet You in The Middle” soon became a hit on Texas’ regional radio chart—no small feat for the then-22-year-old indie musician. His 2017 follow-up album, Probably Wrong, garnered acclaim from Rolling Stone, which compared him to John Mayer and Jason Isbell in its “New Country Artists You Need To Know” section. Since then, McCollum has released his major-label debut single, “Pretty Heart,” and sold out shows across the U.S. The Austin-based artist bridges the gap between Texas’ homegrown music scene and Nashville’s country-industry headquarters.
