WHAT IT IS: REZZ is the moniker of 25-year-old Canadian DJ/producer Isabelle Rezazadeh. Raised by Ukrainian/Persian parents, she discovered her love for EDM after sneaking into Toronto nightclubs in her teens. Starting her DJ career at 16, she’s released a series of projects under Skrillex’s and Deadmau5’s labels and garnered millions of streams, sold out venues and headlined festivals around the world before dropping her fourth—and first independent—EP, Beyond The Senses, in 2019. Oozing originality with her genre-bending electronic works, REZZ strikes a sharp balance between bass-heavy and minimal tech compositions. 2020 has marked a banner year for the producer, who recently released her first major-label single, “Someone Else,” through RCA.
