NOW WHAT?
We have no fucking idea.
COUNTRY'S NEWEST DISRUPTOR
Three chords and some truth you may not be ready for.
AI IS ALREADY EATING YOUR LUNCH
The kids can tell the difference... for now.
WHO'S BUYING THE DRINKS?
That's what we'd like to know.

WHAT IT IS: Bay Area collective Peach Tree Rascals—made up of producer/mixer Dominic Pizano, vocalists Issac Pech, Tarrek Abdel-Khaliq and Joseph Barros and creative director Jorge Olazaba—met in high school and started self-releasing music in 2018. Channeling their first-generation immigrant upbringings into their creative mentality, the five-piece writes, records and produces all their music, while conceptualizing and filming their own music videos. Blending alt-R&B, alt-jazz, pop, rock and hip-hop, the Peach Tree Rascals confront self-acceptance, disillusioned realities and the pursuit of fervent aspirations in their music. With the success of their single “Mariposa,” the L.A.-based group dove into 2020 with “Things Won’t Go My Way,” their first release under 10K/Homemade Projects.
