WHAT IT IS: British-German DJ and production duo Matt James and Frank Sanders are the masterminds behind M-22. Writing and producing their tracks themselves, the partners pride themselves on their ability to create entirely organic products from start to finish. With their 2015 debut, “First Time,” reaching #6 on the U.K. club charts and follow-up “Somewhere New” with Klingande achieving multiple gold and platinum certifications, M-22 have burst into the dance scene with deep, trendy and head-bopping tunes. Additionally, their single ‘White Lies” hit #1 on U.S. Dance radio charts and remained the 16th-most-played record for the year. With a number of Top 10 placements in the U.K. and Germany alongside their latest track, “Can’t Stop Loving You,” making waves in the EDM scene, the duo’s rise in popularity is dramatically evident.
