WHAT IT IS: Bringing a punk attitude back to pop, Taylor Upsahl, better known as UPSAHL, combines magnetism, musical chops and star power. The Phoenix-based singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist started writing and releasing music at 17 and received critical acclaim on her debut EP, Hindsight 20/20, last year, alongside a series of buzzing singles like “Drugs,” which hit Spotify’s Global Viral chart. After spending much of 2019 touring with PVRIS, Joywave, Max Frost and more, UPSAHL has been named a YouTube Artist on the Rise. She’s continuing her momentum with singles like “Stop!” and the unapologetic “12345SEX,” as well as co-writing “Good in Bed” off Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia.
