24-year-old producer/DJ BKAYE, née Brian Kelley, has released his debut single “Glue” via Lowly Records. Hailing from San Francisco, BKAYE is most notable for a string of remixes including Major Lazer's “Be Together” and Ed Sheeran's “Shape of You,” as well as official remixes for The Chainsmokers, Post Malone, and Bebe Rexha.
Written by singer-songwriter Klei (Filous, Midnight Kids) and Max Grimmer, “Glue” portrays a “more mature sound” for BKAYE, one he says, “blends a multitude of genres together beyond just dance music,” which includes indie and alternative elements. Since graduating from Trinity College, BKAYE moved to L.A. and is gearing up for more releases this year. BKAYE is currently repped by Tim Vita. Stay tuned for more and stream “Glue” below.
