RÜFÜS DU SOL officially announced their upcoming live album concert film, RÜFÜS DU SOL: Live from Joshua Tree, via Mixmag. The album consists of eight tracks primarily from Solace, but also contains tracks from Bloom and Atlas as well as a new song, “Valley of the Yuccas.” The title track “Solace” will be the first single to be released in audio and video straight from the film.
The trio held their sold-out world premiere screening in L.A. on 2/18 for over 400 fans at the historic Vista Theatre. Additional intimate screenings will be announced soon. The 45-minute film and live album, which share the name, are set for worldwide release on 3/6.
The motion picture and live album arrives at the head of their 2020 World Tour, which kicks off with a festival run at Envision Festival in Costa Rica. Amidst their live run, the group has been committed to supporting the bushfire relief efforts. This month, they’re hosting a fundraiser in partnership with CRSSD benefitting the RSPCA Bushfire Appeal. Fans can donate via the festival raffle here.
