AN ALL FEMALE LINE UP ON "ONE DAY"
2/21/20

To recognize and celebrate International Women's Day (3/8), TOKiMONSTA—a.k.a. Jennifer Lee—has released “One Day.” The track is written, produced and performed solely by women and features Bibi Bourelly and Jean Deaux. It also marks the third single from Lee’s upcoming LP, Oasis Nocturno.

The forthcoming album will be released on Young Art Record label, with Lee as label head, under a new deal with Ingooves Music Group. The deal comes on heels of Lee’s Grammy nominated Lune Rouge album, which was the first time an Asian-American producer and the first time a female was up for the award.

"A recent Annenberg study found that less than 3% of all charting tracks were produced by women. That's why we thought it was important to release “One Day,” a song which was composed, produced, mixed and performed by women, in honor of International Women's Day,” said TOKiMONSTA.

"We are thrilled to be working with TOKiMONSTA, an extraordinarily talented creative force in music and a shrewd label head as well," said Amy Dietz, EVP/GM of Ingrooves Music Group. "We're excited to put the full weight of our global distribution and marketing network behind TOKiMONSTA and this amazing and important track."
