WHAT IT IS: This rising star from So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation released her debut EP, all the things I never said, earlier this month. The Canadian newcomer has already built plenty of momentum through the release of ‘tear myself apart,” as well as viral track “all my friends are fake,” both of which are on the EP alongside “stupid” and two other new tracks. Sonically, McRae’s music is an amalgamation of propulsive rhythms and sharp, rippling vocals, pulling in the listener track after track.
