WHAT IT IS: Growing up, Taylor Janzen wasn’t encouraged to speak through her feelings, so she turned to songwriting as an outlet. As a result, with each song we’re granted an intimate and almost painstakingly brazen glimpse into the most heart- wrenching pages of her diary. She writes candidly, touching on the topics of mental health and emotional abuse. Janzen first garnered praise from the likes of The New York Times with her debut EP, Interpersonal. Her second release, the 2019 EP Shouting Matches, was her first effort with a full band. To close out 2019, she released “What I Do...”, her first single with Glassnote.
