Bruno Navarro has always been one step ahead in the streaming game. Now the CEO of Top Playlists, which started on Spotify as a playlist network before amassing over 3m followers, Navarro got involved in streaming while working at a TV station in Spain as a music supervisor. “I thought there was a lack of summer playlists so I started Verano 2013 [on Spotify] — now titled, Verano 2020. Today, the playlist has more than 550k followers.”

Through his initial playlist launch, Navarro worked for some of the most listened to radio stations in Spain, such as Los 40 and Europa FM while being a music consultant for companies like Universal Music Spain, Blanco y Negro and CNR Records. “I never left the playlists behind. One day I decided the playlists [I was curating] were the future, so I left radio and started my own company.”

Navarro, who partnered with Celia Lucia in 2013, has playlists that range from genre, mood, location, top charts and can be a source for music discovery. You can stream summer hits below, and check out Top Playlist’s full list, here.
