Independent artist DAYVID recently released his self-titled debut EP Dayvid. The 6-track EP includes single “Wasted Luv,” which peaked at #4 on All Access’ Music Top 40/Mainstream Cool New Music Chart and is currently playing on T40 radio across the U.S., as well as Sirius XM.
Following the EP’s release, 21 year-old DAYVID was named Music Connection’s Top 25 New Music Critiques of 2019. The L.A.-based singer/songwriter has previously co-written with artists such as Feddee le Grand, Navarra and most recently, Grammy-nominated Morgan Taylor Reid.
Finding inspiration from artists like Prince, George Michael, and Bruno Mars, DAYVID says, “Much of the inspiration for my music and aesthetic actually comes from 80’s classic films like Breakfast Club, Say Anything, and Sixteen Candles.”
In the holiday spirit, DAYVID has also dropped a new single, “Find You This Christmas.” Stream his debut EP below.
